Focused Results Right From the Beginning

Born with a business mindset, Mark started his first newspaper route business at 11 years old. Then at 12 he started a lawn care business. The rest, as they say, is history. Learning early on that the true definition of leadership was attaining results, he focused his attention on his customers and what THEY desired for the outcomes.

As an adult he studied law and became a successful trial attorney. He focused the results needed to win each case. It became natural for him to name a consulting and coaching business – Focused Results.

Client Based Philosophy and Methodology

For my clients, I don’t believe in putting a band aid on a wound that needs stitches. This is why one of my core tenets is conducting a root-cause analysis to identify the real underlying issue(s) to their problems. It’s like referred pain: Your leg may hurt but it actually stems from a problem in your back. I’m really good at identifying the underlying problems and, alongside my clients, creating the strategic plan to solve them.

Along with root-cause analysis, I believe in creating customer loyalty through business sustainability. This means not just identifying the problem and building a plan to fix it, but also SUSTAINING it. And this sustainability is created by my clients. I don’t tell people what to do. I ask questions and guide my clients on the path they choose. If I tell you what to do, then it’s my company. If you create the path, then it’s your road to success.

Finally, I round out the rest by helping with leadership development, business coaching, executive coaching, sales coaching, and sales enablement to promote growth.

On a personal level, I enjoy traveling, cruises, hiking mountains, talking with people and reading things related to business and history.
